~History~
Family:[/u] Her parents are both very philosophical people, and she learned her respect for intellect from them. She has a little sister and a little brother. None of them are aware of Rachel's condition.
History:[/u] Her parents homeschooled her, and as part of it enrolled her in Shinkendo (a form of Japanese swordplay) and free-running classes at her request. She got her career started in retail at fifteen, but moved almost immediately to research labs in universities... Until she was attacked by a werewolf (who was recalled and dealt with almost immediately by his pack). She got to a hospital before they could help her, and without that, realizing she had no idea where to start on how to deal with her condition, she struck out to try to make peace with it.
~Notes~
Her will is strong enough that she might have gotten something resembling sentience on her own, but I intend to have her meet up with Wind, and that Wind's help/story causes Rachel to play beta (hopefully) out of gratitude, with the intent of making her own pack later...
