These are rules from the old site:
A few basic guidelines for the werewolves. The Bayville Pack
This is simple and basic. The Original Bayville pack was a large pack. The leaders are Wind's (human name Madison Grey) parents.
Bayville was a small town on the outskirts of their territory, they didn't much care for it, and one day Wind fought her parents that she could be a better leader and be on her own. They gave her a year to make a pack in Bayville without their help. It's unlikely that you can rp as an original member and return to be in Wind's pack, so you should Rp as a stranger coming onto the land, or as a character that had previously contacted Wind through e-mail or letter to advise her that you are coming to live in Bayville if you set up a shop.
NOTE: These werewolves have been living here before man had tamed the land. It is filled with mountains, rolling hills and lush forests. In the middle sits a town where man and Werewolf live peacefully. What man doesn't know, can't hurt them....right?
.::Powers::. Abilities are rare. All Werewolves can 'mentally speak' to each other in their minds in a pack and the alpha can talk to anyone in their minds, and has An Alpha's Voice that can make pack members do what they say.
Positions: open Alpha Male- must win Wind's heart. Beta Female Beta Male Guardians Hunters Pack Mom/healer Omega female /male
Pack Rules:
1) Werewolves exist only to protect humans and keep loners/criminals in line. 2) Tell no human what you are. 3) No howling, hunting, or changing in the presence of non-wolves. 4) No speaking of anything related to Werewolves with someone of non-wolves blood. 5) Hunting or acting out in Wolf form alone is forbidden. Always have at least three or five at most with you. This does not include battles. 8) Never cross territory lines. 9) Never mind-speak with humans.
-Besides all senses heightened, (sight, touch, smell, hearing, taste,) Werewolves have the ability to mind-speak, sending brain waves to all other intelligent living beings. -Howling sends high pitched frequency's in the air and their paws send vibrations to each other.
Healing depends on Moon Phases. Natural born Werewolves are most vulnerable and human like during a new moon. They are most powerful during a full moon. Gravity pulls from the moon create balance and multiplication of the wolf-illness-virus. This is why they heal the faster it is near the time of a full moon, it's the most gravity. Shifting forms is quick and does not hurt them.
Humans can be changed into a Werewolf if bitten, but it's very painful and you usually die. Shifting shape is also painful, and need the help of an alpha or they go insane/feral.
Werewolves have a normal temperature of 106 degree's.
Weakness: -Decapitation, or removal of the head. - EXTREME blood loss. -Silver on open flesh is also deadly, but can be cured. Silver is like an antibiotic for the werewolf virus that is in-coded in werewolf DNA. Werewolf genes are thick and animal-like from the bacteria of the original virus. Silver stops the virus from running threw the body, killing the host.
Wolf's Bane Plant/herb is poison to pure bloods, usually making them fall into a coma and shutting their system down. To changed werewolves, they simply become high.
Half bloods, such as one parent is wolf and one is human, can not change until they reach puberty and need the help of another wolf, usually an alpha. ____________________________________________________ A few basic guidelines for the vampys.
-They can go out during the day, but the sun cannot touch their skin. Just a layer of clothing or standing in the shade is fine. But if the sun is reflecting off of something, like water, and hitting them, the smoking/burning process takes about twice as long.
-When skin is exposed to the sun, it first starts to smoke, then if not covered, will start to burn. Once the flame is large enough the rest of the body will burn within 10 minutes.
-They can see very very well at night, but if out in the sun their eyesight is just only slightly better than a human's.
-They can smell scents and hear very very well during night and day
-Their skin is cold but wearing a long sleeve shirt covers up that coolness from others.
-Their skin takes at least 10 years to become very pale, it fades over time. Their skin is NOT sparkly. It is just reguar skin. ((Just because in Meyer's book their skin is sparkly, doesn't mean all vampire's skin is sparkly.))
-They need to feed on at leat 1 human or animal at least every 6 monthes otherwise they start to loose self-control until they feast. The younger a vampire, the more often it needs to feast.
-Their fangs stay tucked away and look normal until they choose to have them out.((the show True Blood is a good ref for this if you don't understand))
-At top speed they can run a mile in 5 seconds. But this speed comes with age. A 400 year old vampire is much stronger/faster than a 100 year ol vampire.
-At top strength they can lift 800 pounds with one hand, but anything higher they need two hands.
-Yes they have reflections.
-Yes they can eat regular food, meat tends to be the most tasteful((the more raw the better)), everything else doesn't taste as good.
-Garlic actually covers their scent from the werewolves. --They can hang few cloves in or right outside their home --They can eat a little garlic(like in other foods) everyday --They can even make their own 'garlic perfum' if they want.
-the touch of a cross and of silver weakens them
-Besides burning, a wooden/silver steak throgh the heart or having their head cut off kills them.
-They can heal their wounds within a day(the bigger the wound, the more days it takes. Having a limb cut off can take a month to grow back)
-They can have kids, but this is very rare since a baby-vampire's need for blood is so high that it is hard to go unnoticed.
-Many animals can sense them and fear them. Animals that they an have as pets are cats, sometimes dogs and horses.
-They need to sleep a minimum of 8 hours every 24 hours.
-Just be smart. No godmoding o major power playing. If you are not sure about something, just ask.
How the 'changing' or 'transformation' or blooding' is done:
The vampire drains the human completely then feeds the dying human a little ofhis own blood then the body is buried. The next night, if the human can dig himsef out of the dirt and drink from his sire's wrist, he is a new vampire.
Some new vampires have bright red eyes, others don't.
