Few minutes has passed by as Synook approached the two beasts. He had his hands in his pockets, showing no sign of threat to the mysterious werewolf. Mostly white with black and gray. He'll be easy to spot during the warm seasons. To him, he's brown with blue tribal stripes that starts from his face down along his back. Having the dark colors help, but the blue can give his position away. He doesn't care though.
"So this is the new guy here huh?" He looked at Wind, then to the stranger. "I'm Synook, you'll be with me for as of now." He said in a calm tone, his rugged deep voice smooth. His eyes scanned his body, keeping a mental picture for himself if he does happen to bolt off or doing anything aggressive. His job now to keep him tame.
He walked to the new werewolf, a quick glance at his eyes to see if there was a flare of darkness in his eyes. His sight gazed back at the woods to where the lake would be at. "Come with me." He said as he passed by.
"...A new one already? I want to see more...keep them coming...
OoC: Synook and Aparrum are moving to the Loners Lake Thread.

~|Δ|~ All laws are followed...~|Δ|~ The Attack The snarl exploded inches away as Rachel's dive took her just past the approaching car. A yelp followed with so little time between that it was in the same breath. The impact of car on monster was impressive; both took severe damage, but both were still standing. The driver took one look at the beast that rose up in front of him and fainted.
With the headlights on it, Rachel could see the full scope of the beast that had attacked her. Normally, she wasn't easy to shock, but now, she stood rooted to the spot, clutching her arm where the... werewolf had bitten her.
She would have run if she thought it would do any good. In fact, from the moment she'd sensed a pursuer, she'd been aiming for more populated streets. But in the dark, the size could have just been a trick of her fear, the fangs might just have belonged to some provoked dog, the intelligence just the imaginings of the prey. But now, in the light, she could see how obviously monstrous the creature was. She might never have seen a wolf up close, but everyone knew wolves didn't stand on their hind paws. And wolves didn't heal at impossible speeds. She watched with some manner of despair as the flesh, mutilated only moments ago, reknitted itself.
The werewolf came forward slowly now, knowing it had its quarry beat. A terrible grin lit its features, and it crouched.
Something caught its attention, and it raised its head. A moment later, with a strange, unwilling growl, it started clawing its way sideways, almost as though it was being dragged.
That was about when her memory blurred indistinctly with a hospital. They said it was just a large wolf, that she'd been confused by the pain. She didn't try to explain; she knew what she had seen: the werewolf standing, bold as brass, in the car's headlights. And she remembered perhaps even more clearly how it was dragged away, even though there wasn't anything to hold it.
Rachel wasn't stupid. She'd heard all those stories about werewolves, and though most of them had to be taken with a grain of salt, she couldn't rule out the chance that she had become one... and while killing herself would certainly prevent the worst stories from coming to pass, she also hadn't changed yet. And from what she had seen -the fact that she was still alive- meant werewolves could be controlled. And if they could, then she sure as hell wasn't going to write herself off yet.
What she needed was help. Information on how to control werewolves, and what actually happened when they changed. Obviously it wasn't dependent on the phase of the moon - the full moon had been a week prior. She doubted normal hospitals were equipped for this. And she wasn't willing to risk it happening.
With that in mind, she snuck out of the hospital, packed her hiking gear, and drove out into the mountains. The Change She had originally intended to reach Bayville, but about five miles out, she had to pull over and stop; the pain had come so suddenly. Her arm felt like it was on fire, and the rest of her body felt like the fire was spreading. After a few minutes, though, the pain receded again, and she started to get back into her car...
But then it came back, and it was a lot worse.
Rachel watched her hand twist oddly, and hurried to the trunk of the car, opening it and pulling out the cooler of raw meat she'd brought, then sat down next to it, watching her body change right in front of her eyes. She just hoped she had enough. And that, if there was a beast inside, it didn't decide to continue her trip to Bayville.(( I feel like I rushed the ending :/ )) ~|Δ|~...until you choose to break them.~|Δ|~
